Özgür KARATAŞ
Technical Support / Mechanical EngineerHe was born in 1986 in Aydın. He graduated from İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) in 2011 with a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and started his graduate education in Energy Engineering at IZTECH the same year.
In 2006, he started climbing in the IZTECH mountaineering community and since then he took part in the executive boards and trainings of the community.
He has been working with MIRA, as SPRAT L2 rope access lead technician, L2 non-destructive inspection specialist with visual and penetrant methods, GWO working at height and rescue trainer, lifeline supervisor and mechanical engineering supervisor since 2014.
He speaks English and basic German.
