WHAT IS ROPE ACCESS?
Rope Access is an access method for performing the given tasks using special rope techniques,where the classical access methods such as cranes and scaffolding are dangerous or high-cost. This technique allows the control of structures, maintenance and repair works, assemblies at risky heights, and in areas with problems on slopes, in difficult-to-access points, to be done fast, safe and economical.
IRATA Certification System
IRATA International (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) is a non-profit association that sets the standard for rope access technicians and rope access companies.
Rope access certification consists of three basic levels and each level increase is done by recorded rope hours in the logbook.
Rope Access Technician (Level 1, L1), Lead Technician (Level 2, L2) or Rope Access Supervisor (Level 3, L3) trainings is put to the test and will be evaluated by an independent training supervisor (ASSESOR) at the end of the training, successful trainees have an internationally recognized certificate that is accepted all over the world.
