Retaining Walls / Gabion Wall
Retaining walls are concrete perimeter walls that are useful in protecting short slopes. Gabion wall is also used to protect slopes. Gabion walls are built by filling decorative or practical rocks into gabion cages made of specially designed steel wire.
Although it is widely used especially in water-permeable areas, it can be used as decorative in garden walls, as ground and side lines in stream beds. Thanks to its hollow structure, the water accumulated behind the wall is discharged and the water pressure can be equalized without damaging the wall.
Since it is obtained by filling stones of different sizes into the cage, it can also act as a protective rock barrier when installed in more than one row. If the rocks to be filled in the cages are obtained from within the working area, it provides much higher economic benefit.
Mira creates safe areas by applying Gabion Wall to surfaces that are at risk of slipping.
