He was born in 1990, Izmir. Graduated from Hacettepe University Mechanical Engineering Department as an Automotive Engineer.

He started mountaineering at Hacettepe University Mountaineering and Nature Sports Club (HÜDDOSK) in 2009. He has SPRAT L1 Rope Access Technician, GWO BST and GWO BTT certificates.
