Vertical Life Lines

Vertical Lifelines

They are systems used for protection against falling in vertical ladders. Since the vertical lifelines are compatible with all types of stairs, it can be installed without any problems. Vertical lifelines must comply with the EN 353-1 standard.

Top Connection

It is the main connection element with shock absorber to which the steel wire is attached at the top. It has the feature of absorbing the shock on the personnel during the fall. It must be installed with an extension bar for safe use where line outlets are below stair level.

Intermediate Anchor Point

They are intermediate anchors that prevent the rope from swinging on ladders longer than 10 meters. It is mounted on the step of the ladder. The lifeline carriage can pass through this safety point.

Pre-Tensioned Lower Anchor Point

It is the component with the pre-tension spring mounted at the bottom of the system. It helps the rope to stretch during the climb. At the same time, it eliminates the problem of rope elongation and shortening caused by temperature changes.

Carriage (EN 353-1:2014)

It is a fall arrester that allows the technician to climb safely on the vertical line and automatically (without leaving the line) passes from the intermediate safety points. In case of any fall, they automatically lock and stop the fall of the personnel.
